WONDERFUL!!!! when i first got married, way back when!!..i wanted one of these...good thing i didin't or i'd still be on the phone!! these really are delightful!! love the convenience of a cell phone..but i must say I do miss the "heft" and feel of the good old black rotary dial phone!!! heck..I'm old enough to remember the "party line"..i can remember when i was about 6 trying to "sneak" a listen!!!
I just love what you did with this bench....from the paint to the ephemera, it's looks fantastic. Well worth the time and wait for the perfect idea! Cheryl at My Sister's Cottage
It is so cute! Love the vintage ephemerma. Did you just mod podge them on? Good idea to use the feed sack. It's always so fun to see the transformation take place. Visiting from Common Ground. Now a new follower.
Sooooooo worth the wait! I love these little "gossip" spots! Now, I miss my old telephone landline now, just so I could sit in such a cute place and gossip the day away :)
Your gossip bench is wonderful. Oh how I have been searching for one of these. You are so lucky and what a fabulous job you did. Isn't it funny how sometimes it is hard to decide what to do and then all of a sudden you know? I love it :)
Oh, it WAS so worth the wait, Angie! It turned out fabulous! How clever of you to use the ladies magazines and feed sacks in your transformation. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to the party again. I love seeing your wonderful projects each week.
